Weekly Rounds Vol. 2

If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine. It is lethal.

T-G-I-F! I had such a great time sipping boozy snow cones and over-indulging in Meg’s Big Chewy Monster Cookies last night with some of my favorite KC Bloggers. Maybe a little too much fun 😉

I saw this quote over on Instagram yesterday and it really struck a cord in me. I recently exclaimed how much  I love my routine, and it’s true. But this hit me in a different way and gave me that push to keep moving toward what I want and need no matter what it takes. What better time for The Everygirl’s next 30-day Challenge on Self Improvement and Growth, right? There are so many areas that I can apply this challenge to, but I’m hoping it gives me the kick I need to get back into a steady running routine.

And with that deep, all over the place thought, I’ll leave you with some of my favorite finds on the world wide web this week:

– I’m making this DIY lucite tray from Roxy over at Society Social my next project

– Miss Erin over at Color Me Styled featured me as one of her Instagram Feeds To Follow this month. I find hers to be just as pleasing to the eye, go say hi!- Just when I think Emma couldn’t possibly get any cuter, she goes and does this– I had so much fun putting together a mini guide to Kansas City over on the Twin Stripe Blog!

– The Kissing Booth Blog got a makeover and it has me longing to start my own re-brand

– I can’t get over how adorable Nicole looks in her Work-to-Night feature over on The Everygirl

p/s Did you catch these posts on the blog this week?
– A review of Le Tote, the latest and greatest in subscription boxes. Stay tuned for my next box, I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one!
– #GIRLBOSS book review and follow up on the first #BookClubBlogger meet upI’m off to the Ozarks for one last summer hoorah with some of my favorite people! I’ll see you back here on Tuesday. Have an amazing longggg holiday weekend!photo via Unsplash

  19. Weird story, but my sister-in-law went to school with Emma Stone, and I’m insanely jealous. Can I please have her hair color/cut and quirkiness. I mean, we’re destined to be besties..
